Our first batch of vegetables have arrived and I’m so excited for the upcoming season. Please remember to protect from frost. Here’s what has arrived on our first delivery:

Summer Pre-orders

Welcome in the new season by pre-ordering your summer hanging baskets and planted containers. Alongside our ‘off the shelf’ baskets and containers, we also offer a refill service. Find out more below!

    How does it work?

  • "Step one. Empty your baskets/containers of any old soil or plants ready for filling."

    Step 1.

  • "Step two. Bring your empty baskets to SO Plants from 1st April. P.s. we're open seven days a week."

    Step 2.

  • "Step three. We will take your details and write down what you'd like in your basket. You can be as specific or vague as you'd like. Our team are always ready to work their creative magic."

    Step 3.

  • "Step four. Your order will be given a colour and a number - this information will be given to you on a business card to keep hold of."

    Step 4.

  • "Step five. From mid-May onwards, please ring us to check on the status of your order. We will not release baskets until the risk of frost is gone and we like to give your plants time to root in."

    Step 5.

  • "Step six. When you're given the green-light on your order, please pop in to pay and collect or to arrange delivery."

    Step 6.

  • "For more information please get in touch or visit us!"

Independent Retailer of the Year

Have I’m delighted to say that we won the Independent Retailer of the Year Award at the Ribble Valley Business Awards! The team had such a wonderful time at the awards show and we are so pleased to have won.

The SO Plants Loyalty Card

Have you joined our new Loyalty Card scheme yet? It’s easy, either pop in and see us or fill in your email address at the link below

By joining you’ll receive a monthly newsletter, 10% off the plant of the month as well as early access to sales and events.

With our loyalty card you will receive one stamp on your Loyalty Card for every £20 spent with us. Once you have collected 10 stamps, you will receive a £5 voucher.

Exclusions on some seasonal stock will apply, but we will let you know in advance.

Father Christmas

One Big Thank You

As you may know, we were lucky to have four visits from Father Christmas this year at the garden centre.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who visited- with your help we’ve raised £478 for North West Air Ambulance (Father Christmas’ chosen charity)

Melly is particularly fond of Father Christmas and loves when he visits!
